An AI agent that builds trucking invoices from delivery paperwork
Bani's invoicing agent will take a bill of lading and proof of delivery, check the signed delivery, match it to the load and rate, and build the invoice. You review it and send it to your customer.
The paperwork behind this job
A bill of lading (BOL) describes the shipment and who is moving it. A proof of delivery (POD) is the signed record that it arrived. A carrier usually cannot bill a load until those documents are in hand and match what was booked.
What you send
- The bill of lading
- The signed proof of delivery
- A forwarded email or a phone photo of either one
What Bani does
- Checks the signed delivery
- Matches the load and rate
- Builds the invoice and flags anything missing
What you get back
An invoice with the line haul and any charges filled in, ready to send to your customer.
Where you approve
Bani prepares each job. You approve anything that goes to a customer, a driver or the border.
Questions
- What is the difference between a BOL and a POD?
- A bill of lading describes the shipment when it is picked up. A proof of delivery is the record, usually signed by the receiver, that the shipment arrived.
- Why does the agent check the proof of delivery first?
- The signed delivery is what shows the job was done, and customers often ask for it with the invoice. If it is missing, Bani will flag it before an invoice is built.
- Will invoices go out automatically?
- No. Anything that goes to a customer waits for your approval.
