An AI agent that completes driver files and flags what is missing
Bani's driver file agent will read a driver's application and licence, check the file for missing items and tell you what still needs to be collected. You decide what to request from the driver.
The paperwork behind this job
A driver file is the carrier's record of why a driver is qualified to drive. In the United States, FMCSA rules in 49 CFR Part 391 require a driver qualification file. In Canada, provincial rules based on the National Safety Code set what a carrier has to keep.
What you send
- The driver application
- The licence
- Any other driver documents you already have
What Bani does
- Reads the application
- Reads the licence
- Checks for missing items
What you get back
A driver file with anything missing flagged, and a request ready for you to approve.
Where you approve
Bani prepares each job. You approve anything that goes to a customer, a driver or the border.
Questions
- What goes in a driver qualification file?
- In the United States a driver qualification file typically holds the employment application, motor vehicle records, the road test or an accepted equivalent, the medical certificate and the carrier's annual review. Check the current FMCSA rules for your operation.
- Will Bani contact my driver?
- Only if you approve it. Bani flags the missing item and prepares the request, and anything that goes to a driver waits for your approval.
- Does it work for Canadian and US drivers?
- BaniTMS is being built for carriers in both countries. Which requirements the agent checks will depend on where you operate.
